All nutrition should be
regulated and adapted to one’s blood group. Those who eat everything
indiscriminately put stress on their bodies, which eventually leads to
breakdown. Milk and eggs are among the foods whose effects are more noticeable
depending on one's blood group. For instance, are cow's milk and chicken eggs
beneficial for people with blood types O and A? Or should they opt for
alternative milks and eggs for better health and well-being?
Blood
Group O
People with blood type O should significantly limit
their intake of dairy products, as their bodies and metabolism are poorly
adapted to these foods. This often results in allergic reactions or digestive
intolerance. According to American doctor and naturopath Dr. Peter D’Adamo,
individuals of African descent should completely eliminate dairy and eggs from
their diets, as they have an even harder time digesting them compared to others
of the same blood group.
Food
Allergies vs Digestive Disorders
It is important not to confuse food allergies with digestive disorders. Allergies are immune system reactions to certain foods, during which the body produces antibodies to combat the ingested substance. In contrast, food intolerances are digestive responses that can occur for various reasons such as cultural conditioning, psychological associations, poor-quality food, additives, or simply biological randomness. Soy milk and soy cheese are excellent substitutes for animal-based dairy products. Avoid Ice cream, cream cheese, semi-skimmed milk, skimmed milk, whole milk, goat milk, yogurt.
Blood
Group A
People with blood type A can tolerate fermented
dairy in small amounts. However, they should avoid all products made from whole
milk, limit their egg consumption, and only eat natural eggs. When it comes to dairy, it's better to choose yogurt and other fermented dairy
products. Raw goat milk is an excellent substitute for cow's milk, as is soy
milk. Soy cheese is also ideal for group A individuals.
Most other dairy products are hard to digest because
the body produces antibodies when exposed to D-galactosamine, a sugar derived
from milk metabolism. D-galactosamine is one of the essential
components alongside fucose of the B antigen. Since the immune system of blood
group A is designed to reject blood group B and anything that resembles it, the
antibodies created to fight B antigens also reject whole milk products.
If you're prone to allergies or suffer from
respiratory issues, it's worth noting that consuming dairy significantly
increases mucus production. This is unhelpful for group A individuals, who
naturally secrete more mucus than others possibly because it provides an extra
layer of protection for their relatively tolerant immune systems. However,
excess mucus can be harmful, promoting bacterial growth and leading to allergic
reactions, infections, and respiratory disorders. That’s another strong reason
to limit dairy intake.
Give priority to Soy cheese, soy milk. Neutral foods are Goat cheese, goat milk, yogurt. Avoid butter, ice cream, cream cheese, semi-skimmed milk, skimmed milk, whole milk.
