Grown in Togo, lemongrass leaf is known for its therapeutic properties. It has long been used to treat illnesses such as rheumatism, influenza and digestive disorders. Lemongrass leaf is an indispensable ally, an excellent diuretic that contributes to weight loss by eliminating water and non-essential nutrients from the body. Antiseptic and calming, they are also effective in combating colitis and soothing stomach cramps. A diuretic, lemongrass tea taken at the end of a meal also helps prevent bloating. It also inhibits bacterial growth in the stomach, colon, urinary tract and respiratory system.

Recipe: Infuse 05 lemongrass leaves, add 02 chopped ginger roots and 03 peppermint leaves in boiling water for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave to stand for 03 minutes, then strain through a sieve. Pour into a carafe and add lime slices just before serving. Add honey. Drinking three (3) cups of lemongrass a day will help you lose weight and combat stress and persistent fatigue. We recommend drinking the infusion after each meal, to aid digestion and improve sleep.
