Vitamin C is one of those elements that the body needs. When it is lacking, it demands to be satisfied. As soon as it gets its dose, it calms down, otherwise it will keep asking for more. And the individual will tend to binge again and again until he gets the dose he needs. This is why a lack of vitamin C leads to overweight. Vitamin C also contributes to the production of noradrenaline, the hormone that works to expel fat from the cells. And when fat is not eliminated normally, it stagnates in the tissues and particularly in the so-called adipose tissues. In women, this tissue is found on the hips, buttocks and arms. Similarly, vitamin C is involved in the production of carnitine, a substance that carries fat particles from the blood into the cell cavity. Through its actions, vitamin C not only makes the skin smoother but also gives more strength to the connective tissue. A normal dose of vitamin C is between 500 mg and 3g.  In its natural state, the vitamin is mainly found in fresh fruit and vegetables. In particular, lemons, kiwi fruit, oranges, grapefruit, broccoli, cabbage, peppers, papaya, sea lettuce, fresh parsley, apples and the clementine. Vitamin C is also available in pharmacies in the form of ascorbic acid powder or effervescent tablets. Consult your doctor for supplementation.
