The government reorganization carried out under the Fifth Republic in Togo marks a new stage in the structuring of the health sector. First, the outgoing Minister, Professor Tchin Darré, highlighted the main achievements accomplished during his term of office. He expressed his deep gratitude to the President of the Council, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, for the trust placed in him, while also thanking his colleagues for their commitment and dedication. Now Deputy Minister to the Minister of Health, Professor Darré reaffirmed his willingness to continue the work in a spirit of collaboration and continuity.

Secondly, the incoming Minister, Jean-Marie Koffi Ewonoulé Tessi, began his remarks by expressing his deep gratitude to the President of the Council for this renewed mark of confidence, while reaffirming his commitment to serve Togo at his side with seriousness and loyalty. He praised the work accomplished by his predecessor and reiterated that health remains a strategic focus for the country in its policy of social inclusion and national solidarity.

Minister Tessi emphasized the need to make concrete improvements to the conditions of care and the quality of healthcare for every citizen, priorities that are dear to the President of the Council.
