The Institut National d'Hygiène (INH) organized its annual management review for the year 2024 on June 19 and 20, 2025 in Lomé. This strategic meeting brought together heads of department, supervisors and their deputies for an in-depth assessment of its Management System, with the aim of identifying areas for improving the institution's services to better meet the expectations of the population.

A key tool in the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System (QMS), the management review is an important decision-making tool within the INH. Each department presented a report on its activities over the past year, highlighting the results achieved and the extent to which the objectives set had been met. Discussions highlighted the main challenges, changes and improvements to be made.

These two days of work enabled the various INH players, in collaboration with management, to take stock of several key themes: quality indicators, risk management and preventive actions, the evolution of internal and external issues impacting the laboratories, and compliance with normative and regulatory requirements. The review also provided an opportunity to assess INH's performance through the results of inter-laboratory comparison programs and evaluations carried out by external bodies.

At the end of this work, a quality action plan and a continuous improvement plan were drawn up, affirming the Institut National d'Hygiène's determination to consolidate its achievements and further raise the level of quality of its services, in response to the growing expectations of customers and the requirements of standards.
