very simple tips, to which we can also add laughter. The negative impact of
stress on cardiovascular disease has now been clearly demonstrated. It can even
lead to myocardial infarction. Hence the importance of preventing it, if not
managing it, thanks in particular to laughter. The benefits of laughter have
been repeatedly demonstrated.
The association between stressful events and subsequent stress symptoms was
moderated by the frequency of laughter experienced at the time of the stressful
event.
Laughter tends to stabilize heart rate and lower blood pressure. What's
more, it reduces the production of cortisol, the main stress hormone, providing
an immediate sense of well-being.
What's more, laughter is a formidable link with others: it facilitates
human relationships, reduces aggression and de-dramatizes situations. So don't
