National Institute of Health Insurance (INAM) according to its promise, pays
the 70% of unpaid care bills to health centers and pharmacies. We recall that
in recent months, reluctance or even refusal on the part of certain care
centers and pharmacies have been observed in the management of insured patients
with the INAM. This state of affairs has panicked the beneficiaries of the INAM
and has caused discomfort and many questions among the population. In a
statement made public, the INAM justifies this late payment of invoices by the
changes it is currently making on the methods in the management of settlement
of health care providers. Also, in a
letter addressed to these partners on 24 July, INAM promised to pay 70% of the
arrears by 28 July. It is done. According to our information collected at the
INAM, payments by bank transfers have actually started on the date indicated.
This is confirmed by the contracted care providers who want the interbank
formalities to be done diligently so that they can properly play their role in
this insurance system. Faced with this
situation, INAM reassures its partners and beneficiaries that diligent measures
are taken to return to normal.
